Tori

Tori has had a hard time adjusting to China and staying with another family.... I'm considering telling her to not stress so much over sending me updates. Tell me, what would you all do?? I want her to have a good time in China and I hate that she feels so stressed out over everything...

China time Fri. July 24 5:21 AM
Dallas time Thurs. July 23 3:23 PM
I'm very mad @ myself. Yesterday I kept myself pretty hydrated.So, that night I was continuously waking up to go pee.It was very annoying esp. when I woke up at 5 AM and couldn't go back to sleep.Of course Xueling, Samad, Reyhan, and Iran don't wake up until like 9 AM usually.Once everybody wakes I'll probably eat breakfast, then go watch the view from Xueling's apt. building.Its an amazing view of the skyline.
Now it's post breakfast, so we must walk to the police station, to get myself registered and what not.Right now as I'm writing this in the police station office, there is people looking over my shoulder.We went by the bank so, I could get money.Then we went by the post office so, I could send a letter to my sister, Tia.Then we went to Haagen-Daz for ice cream.I had one scoop of Green Tea and one of Chocolate with diced almonds .I was good together, a nice combonation.Then we had to pick Iran up from school, to take her to the 'Olympic Math" class.All the boys keep looking at me and laughingI'm thinking its because of yesterday and the camera incident.Well now we are home good by one more day!

Day 1 China time Thursday July 23 8:14 PM Texas time Thursday July 23 6:21 AM

Today we woke up and Xueling took Reyhan to school.Right before that i presented them with the gifts we bought for them.I had brought several books, pieces of chocolate, tic-tacs, and tshirts.Iran's said,"Don't mess with Texas."And they kept running around saying,"Don't mess with Texas!"We then had breakfast when Xueling got back.Breakfast featured: fried eggs, bread w/ a spreadable, sour, yet sooo good cheese from Iran,(it tasted almost of sour cream cheese,if thats even real)wanuts, and dumplings.After that Samad left for his work. About that time it we had to leave for Iran's school class, about writing Chinese articles,intended to help her during her middle school exams.Ofcourse we had to take the motorcycle, luckily she went slowly.(well at least for China's standards)When we finally got there, Xueling introduced me to Iran's classmates and teacher.After that Xueling and I went for a 2 hr. stroll down Walking Street.(where no cars or bikes are allowed go figure)Though back to having to ride the motorcycle...(its more like a large motor scooter of sorts...if you can picture that)Anyways it was fun.Its very funny when Xueling says some Chinese translationto me.Like when she asked me," Do you want a Cola?"But it always sounded like collar with her accent.Many times she would ask me about things and what they were called in America.Its also a fun to play a game with Xueling.Like when I saw a foreigner we'd say,"Foreigner!"Ya, ya i know its probably rude and maybe hypecritical, being as much a foreiger as they but, its very fun!When we went to Iran's Olympic Math class, it was very fun.I tried to follow along with her teacher but he spoke to fast, but he did write it all on the board so, I got one problem solved.Here it is, though ofcourse i got it all wrong!
56+28x.5=
I looked at it as 56+28+?x.5=?
But if I thought about it a while and used P.E.M.D.A.S.
I would've known that its solved like this:
28x.5=? +56=?
(btw the RIGHT answer is 70 how stupid could I be?! We learned this all in 6th gr!)
I'm not sure why I put that in my blog, though why not I'm already wasting my time.I took many pictures that day.One in the school building I found esp. funny.It was one that said,"No frolicking."Frolicking!"LOL!Also just to rebel against The Man I took a picture of a sign that said,"No camera"!I felt so brave!Then super embarrassed bcuz it caused all the boys to burst out in laughter.Apperently they had been watching me very closely when I pulled out my camera.At 4:30PM the class ended.We went to Chongwenmen Market.It was alot fun.We went in this really cute store.All of the stuff was apperently from Japan it was all soooo cute.(Yes I know the I spelt so like soooo.Maybe I just wanted to rebel, did you ever think of that?!)I came to revalation of how odd it was that I feel sooo(there it is again!I'm such a rebel!)comfortable and @ home with them.(aside from when the break off in mid-conversation with me to talk to each other in Chinese.It gets very annoying)But I don't feel like such an "Outsider looking in" as I do with my mother in America.I feel guilty openly saying that but, its how I always feel.At least that feeling is always in the back of my mind.But here I just look like some other Chinese kid walking the streets.Until I open my mouth and English comes out, then people start to stare.Though I don't mind, in fact I might over indulge my english capabilities just to feel special!Well I hope you liked being inside my head for a day...stay tuned for the next Day in Tori's mind...I mean china w/ Tori! lol

My mom of course HAD to set me up this stupid blog.And of course I can't get on blogspot.com,to put up any updates, which really didn't bother me, cause I hate typing.though my mom, being a problem solver told me to email everything.She doesnt know that the stuff Ive written down are like 2 to 3 pgs long!But I forbade her to edit anything!If she is gonna give me this kinda hassle, she can only read!Well anyways the uploading times might be a little messed up, the times I give in the updates are the times that i had written it written down in my journal.I will give China and Dallas time.I would say America time but there are a few different time zones, plus I live nearest to Dallas.So here goes,
